Abstract : A Chinese model of acupuncture based essentially on
the theory of
the Solid and Hollow Organs (Zang-Fun)
has become widely known in France
during the last twenty years.
This unpublished text proposes a return to the
origins of traditional acupuncture, byconcentrating its perspective
on the theories of the Channels (Jing Luo)with a new, more systematic
presentation of their semiology.
The Lung Channel of the Hand
(Tai Yin) is used as an example. The clinical
signs are divided into three large
categories according to whether they can be linked
to the internal relationship of the Channels
with its internal organ, the external line of
the Meridian or to the
connexion that the latter has with the organisational
system of the Lung Channel of
the Hand. Each sentence in this study goes
back to a classical tenet which is set in its context. Thecomplementary aspects, both nosological and therapeutical,
will be studiedat a later date.

INDICATIONS ET ASSOCIATIONS DES POINTS BEISHU
INTERNES
par Dr
Robert HAWAWINI
Résumé : Les points Beishu sont
les Shu, que l'on a traduit par
assentiments,
Zang, Fu et méridiens, ses indications sont donc larges ;
-
indications
fonctionnelles
sont larges aussi.

clés : Acupuncture, points,

Abstract : The Beishu points are the Shu of the back (bei) that
has been
translated by "assentiments".
By their position in relation whit the
sympathetic system, they
influence all the Zang, Fu and Meridians. Thus
their symptoms are more wide
spread, just as much prognosticatory as
energizing, and affect
deficiency (Xu), plenitude (Shi), the blood (Xue),
energy (Qi), cold (Han), heat
(Re) and depth (Li), surface (Biao), although
they affect the Li in
particular. They are linked to numerous symptomatic
and functionnal points so as
to cover a wide range of the pathology.
The two large groupings of points,
the most useful for the Beishu, are :
- The Beishu-Mu combination
that regulates the Yin, the Qi and the blood of
the Zang, Fu and Meridians.
Thus their symptoms are extensive ;
- the Beishu and transfer
points (Shu) of the Yin or converging (He) of the
Yang, whose functionnal
symptoms are also extensive.
Key words : Acupuncture, points, combination of points, Beishu,
"assentiment", back.
