unknown 30 years ago, the bulimia does not cease extending its devastations. It
touches approximately 3% of the young women and is 4 times more frequent than
the anorexia nervosa. The bulimia consists of an impulsive need and violent one
to eat, who can be independent of any true hunger and whom satiety does not
calm. After fast absorption and without pleasure of a sometimes enormous
quantity of food, the compulsive eaters try to eliminate it while vomitting, by
taking diuretic even laxatives, generally in hiding-place, in shame and the
culpability.
In Chinese Traditional Medicine, the bulimia finds its origin in the disturbance of the loggia Ground, but especially in the attack of the visceral entities, in particular that of the Heart: Shen. The processing thus will consist in rebalancing the couple Speen-Pancreas, Stomach as well as regularizing the intrication of the disorders of the visceral souls : Shen, Zhi, Po, Yi and Hun. An explanation of the bulimia according to the Chinese nosology makes it possible to choose the following points: ST 36 (Zusanli), SP 6 (Sanyinjiao), ST 40 (Fenglong), SP 3 (Taibai), SP 2 (Dadu), GV 20 (Baihui), HC 6 (Neijuan), H 7 (Shenmen), ST 45 (Lidui), L 1 (Zhongfu), BL 42 (Pohu), CV 17 (Shanzhong), CV 14 (Jujue), BL 44 (Shentang), LIV 13 (Zhangmen), BL 49 (Yishe), LIV 14 (Qimen), BL 47 (Hunmen), GB 25 (Jingmen) and BL 52 (Zhishi) used all or partly, according to the determination of the organ reached.
