Summary: Can the acupuncture make proof of a major engagement with respect to
science and the critical thought? Can science accept in its centre an empirical
discipline which plunges its roots in more than 4000 years, impregnated of a
philosophy which modern medicine reproves ? The dichotomy exists, would not be
that for example some practitioners work only with the traditional Chinese
concepts of Yin and Yang, while others are based mainly on the Western
neurophysiology. The technique can then intervene and why not, to conciliate
this division of concepts in order to generate a mutual enrichment. Internet,
by putting medical science with its fabulous bibliographic data banks at the
range of all one each one, can only improve the practice of any impregnated
acupuncturist of Chinese traditional Medicine. And we will see through this
talk how medicine can only find grown, by exploring a considerable side
scientifically of a medicine which crossed millennia.
